Our Story

The Quetico Microinternational Stock Exchange (QMSE) is a Stock Exchange founded as a system for micronational businesses to become publibly traded. In May 2016, Henry Twain had a vision for an entire micronational private sector. He started Quetico Street, and with the QMSE at the helm of the project, it took off and garned support, attention, and recognition. The QMSE has now grown to boast being the largest Micronational Stock Exchange to date. Additionally, as of recent changes in our legal status, the QMSE has more access to increasing resources. With all of this, the future of micronationalism looks brighter than ever.

Henry Twain is a micronationalist politician, comedian, journalist, and entrepreneur who has taken part in various micronations, including Mercia, the Federated States of America, the Atlantic Commonwealth, and Esse. He is the founder and creator of Quetico Street, making his position as superintendent appropriate.

KIT McCARTHY

KIT McCARTHY

Kit McCarthy is the founder and President of the Republic of Mcarthia. There he has played an active role in micronationalism, founding projects such as RadioMicro, themicronational, and the more recent McCarthy-McFarlane Accords. He has been a crucial member of the Quetico Street Board since its founding in May of 2016.

LEON WILLIAMSON

Trustee

Leon Williamson is a micronationalist who has been involved in the community since 2012. An influential member of the Confederation of Amager, the Tsardom of Nolland, and the Quetican Islands, Williamson was brought on as a chief advisor to Quetico Street upon its founding and recently became a trustee.
